Born in Lombardy, Italy, Giulio Bianchi has over 45 years of experience in industrial engineering, project design, and international trade.
He has managed complex industrial setups in Eastern Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East, including soap and detergent factories in Nigeria, food processing plants in Iran, and equipment finance operations across former Soviet countries.

As the former president of CAM Finance S.A. in Lugano, he developed industrial projects with major clients such as Glencore, KAMAZ, and Parmalat, in collaboration with European engineering giants like Mannesmann and Danieli.

Today, Giulio leads the technical design and plant integration process at OSTERTRADE, ensuring each solution is tailored, bankable, and future-ready.

Roberto Preto

Expert – Agro-Food Processing & Product Strategy / MSE PhD MBA

Roberto Preto is a leading consultant in food technology, agro-processing innovation, and product development.
He has supported projects related to fruit and vegetable transformation, tomato paste, cassava derivatives, and palm oil processing in Sub-Saharan Africa.

With a background in both engineering and agronomy, Roberto ensures that OSTERTRADE’s solutions meet food safety, efficiency, and marketability standards.
His contributions help clients align with export protocols, local consumer trends, and value-added product chains.

Roberto Preto is an Assistant Professor of the Solar and Biomasses Energy Plants and of the Electrical Energetics at the University of Pavia, Italy. His research interest is in electrical energy, energy recovering systems, biomass and energy systems, biogas engineering, gasification and pyrolysis of biomass. He has been working with Ostertrade since 2012 and he is the expert behind the Ostertrade biomass energy system. He’s the author of several articles published in international scientific journals

Carlo Morandini

Expert – Agronomist & Agricultural Master

Carlo Morandini is a senior technical advisor specialized in mechanical systems, industrial automation, and factory engineering.
With experience in dozens of agro-processing setups in Europe and Africa, he supervises machinery layout, integration of energy-efficient systems, and adaptation to local conditions.

Carlo is known for his ability to solve complex mechanical problems, optimize production lines, and reduce operational waste.
His knowledge helps OSTERTRADE deliver turnkey projects that are resilient, cost-effective, and scalable.

Carlo, our agricultural consultant, was born on June 8, 1960 in a family of cattle growers and farmers. He completed his high school studies at the Liceo Sceintifico Aleardo Aleardi Verona and graduated in Engineering at the University of Pisa.

He was a professional rally driver for Lancia at the Italian and European championships. As an expert cattle grower and farmer he was active in Argentina, Ireland, Hungary and Italy, where he is living and working at the moment, while also providing expertise to our Nigerian clients.

He speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and Hungarian.
